Vacation Bible School Director

Karen Taylor was born in Detroit, Michigan, orphaned at the age of 2 and was relocated to Central Michigan. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States. Karen accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and friend at the age of 8 during Vacation Bible School. She attended Santa Rosa Community College, Santa Rosa, California and did volunteer work for the blind in San Rafael, California.

Karen raised her family in Nolanville and was secretary at First Baptist Church of Nolanville from 1981-83. In 2005, she was commissioned as a missionary through the Southern Baptist Convention at First Baptist Church in Harker Heights. If you have a conversation with her, you can be sure Jesus Christ will be brought into the conversation. Karen is serving as Director of the Vacation Bible School this year.
